Wanda D. (Schoenberger) Pettit , 65, of Golf View Drive, Kunkletown, Polk Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Sunday morning, January 24, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, after a 14 year courageous journey with cancer. She was the wife of William E. Pettit since September 1, 1973. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Edna (Smith) Schoenberger.
Wanda was employed by the Home Depot, Whitehall, for many years, and previously by the former Clark's Hardware, Brodheadsville, and Effort. She was a member of Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Trachsville. Wanda was a 1973 graduate of the Pleasant Valley High School, Brodheadsville. She enjoyed NFL Football.
Survivors: Husband. Daughters, Tracy Wilson of Simpsonville, SC, Deidre wife of Russell Hoch, Jr. of Kresgeville. 2 grandchildren, Nicole, and Ryan. Sister, Annette Masferrer of Jonas. Brother, Kenneth of Palmerton. Niece, Angela Masferrer. Nephew, Mark Masferrer. Great Nephew, Ayden Conklin. Granddogs, Parker, Kobi, and Lola.
Services: Please be advised that due to the impact of the snow storm, and concern for the safety of family and friends, Memorial Services and Call Hours for Wanda, have been moved to Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021: Memorial Services at 2:00 p.m., at Jerusalem UCC, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville), PA 18071.
