Ward C. Dean, Sr.

Ward C. Dean, Sr., 87 of Bath, PA, formerly of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Alexandria Manor in Bath.  Born April 25, 1930 in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of the late Emma (Bryan) Call and Charles Call, Sr.  He was the husband of 51 years to the late Faith E. (Finn) Dean who passed away in 2009.

He was last employed by Lone Star Cement Company, Nazareth, PA as a Foreman for 40 years before retiring in 1994.  He was of the Methodist faith and was a Master Mason of Masonic Blue Lodge, Hudson, NY. He served honorably as a S/SGT in the US Air Force during the Korean War.

Surviving are sons, Ward C. Dean, Jr. and wife Kathy of Bethlehem, PA, David F. Dean and wife Karen of Danielsville, PA, Mark J. Dean and wife MaryAnn of Northampton, PA; brother, Charles Call, Jr. of Aiken, SC; sister, Mrs. Barbara Supplee of Valley Twp., PA; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by daughter, Cindy (Dean) Kasten in 2001 and a sister, Joan (Call) Macher.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday February 17, 2018 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to the services.  Interment with honors will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown, PA.
