Warren F. Anthony, 86, of Snyders Road, Palmerton, Towamensing Township, Pennsylvania, died Sunday evening, May 8, 2016, in his home. He was the husband of Phyllis M. (Borger) Anthony since November 5, 1950. Born in Aquashicola, Lower Towamensing Township, he was a son of the late Warren R. and Elsie I. (Buskirk) Anthony.
Warren worked as a load operator for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, for over 34 years, retiring in 1991. He served in the US Air Force, Korean Era, and achieved the rank of Sargeant. Warren enjoyed bowling at the Slate Bowl in Slatington.
Survivors: Wife, Phyllis. Son, Keith W. of Towamensing Township. Sister, Jeanette wife of Ronald Hartman of Towamensing Township. Brother, Roy and wife Deana of Kunkletown. Nieces and nephews.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.
