Wendy A. Stein

Wendy A. Stein , 59 of Northampton, PA, passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side on Friday, October 6, 2023. Born April 27, 1964 in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late August E. Getz and the late Doris J. (Gable) Getz. She was the wife of Lee J. Stein.

Wendy was a 1982 graduate of Northampton High School who was employed as Head Teller at the PNC Bank- Northampton Branch for 25 years until 2005, along with working at  the Turkey Hill Mini Market, Northampton, PA for over 30 years. She was also a mother and grandmother always caring for her family.

Surviving along with her husband Lee are daughters, Melissa S. Mack and companion Brian Hyndshaw of Whitehall, PA, Brittany L. DeWalt wife of Tyler, and Kaitlyn S. Stein both of Northampton, PA, sisters, Wanda L. Getz of Northampton, PA and Margaret E. Kocher wife of Eugene F., Jr. of Bath, PA; 3 granddaughters; Vanessa, Brooke, and Cassandra, Nephew, Eugene E. Kocher.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday October 15, 2023 at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Friends and family may call from 6:00 PM until time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
