William F. Fox, Jr., 82 formerly of Whitehall-Fullerton, PA. died
Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem. Born September 12, 1934 in Coplay, he was the son of the late Dr. William F. Fox, Sr. and Grace (Long) Fox. He was the husband of the late Rosemarie R. (Malik) Fox who passed away August 22, 2003.
William was a 1952 graduate of Coplay High School who continued his education and earned a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Business Administration in 1957 from Moravian College, Bethlehem. He was a self-employed Courier for 20 years before retiring in 1995. Prior to he worked for Dun & Bradstreet, Harrisburg, PA. as a credit reporter from 1958 to 1975. He was a member of St .John's Lutheran Church, Coplay, PA.; A life member of the Fullerton Fire Co., Whitehall, PA. William enjoyed spending time with his dog Katie and watching Baseball and Football. He enjoyed playing baseball in his youth.
Surviving are daughters; Carol A. Sommers of Whitehall, PA and Christine M. wife of Bruce Parola of Moscow, PA; brother; James Fox of Middletown, CT; sisters; Mrs. Doris Sieger and Ms. Sarah Fox both of Coplay, PA; and 4 grandchildren: Kyle, Sophia, Bruce, and Maria.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday October 8, 2016 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067 with the Rev. Timothy Boyer officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, October 7, 2016, and Sat. October 8, 2016 from 9:00am to 10:00am both at Schisler
Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall, PA.
Contributions: May be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial fund C/O the funeral home.
