William J. Gogle, Jr.

William J. Gogle, Jr., 79 of Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born June 8, 1943, he was the son of the late William J. Gogle, Sr. and the late Jessie (Welliver) Gogle. He was the husband of Carol A. (Kish) Gogle with whom he shared 54 years of marriage last November 4, 2021.

William was a 1963 graduate of Northampton High School who later achieved an associate degree in Fire Science from Northampton Community College. He was employed by the Everson Electric Company, Bethlehem, PA. as an Inspector for 35 years before retiring in 2002. William offered his time as a volunteer firefighter for over 40 years serving at both the Allen Twsp. Vol. Fire Co. and the East Allen Vol. Fire Co.

Surviving along with his wife Carol, are daughter, Michelle A. wife of Frank Johnston of Northampton, PA; granddaughter; Madelyn. He was predeceased by sister, Mrs. Nancy Silfies and a stepbrother, Richard Grim.

Graveside services at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown will be private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067, has been entrusted with his care and services.
