William G. Kasper, Jr.

William G. Kasper, Jr. , 76 of Northampton, PA, passed away at his home, with family by his side on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Born December 13, 1948, in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late William G. Kasper, Sr. and the late Olga (Romanchik) Kasper. He was the husband of Karen M. (Tobisch) Kasper who passed away April 2021.

William was a 1966 graduate of Northampton Area Senior High School, who was last employed as a Technician for Engaged Audio Video of Easton, PA for 8 years. William was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath, PA. He was serving as a Church Council member, Property Committee, Communion Assistant, and Church handyman. William was an Eagle Scout recipient, who continued to assist young men in scouting serving as a Cub Scout leader for Troop #26 Northampton, PA. He also offered his time as Lunch room monitor for both the Franklin Elementary and Siegried Elementary Schools in Northampton. William served his country as a AMS2 in the US Navy from 1968 until 1972. William had a great love of the outdoors and sharing time with friends and family who meant everything to him, he opened his heart and home to his adopted children.

William is survived by his son, Alfonso W. Kasper of Morrisville, NC, daughter, Mercedes M. Kasper of Northampton, PA, sister, Barbara Flandorffer of Catasauqua, PA. Nieces, Tamara Althoff of Red Lion, PA.  Maria Tobisch of Pittston, PA , and nephew James Tobisch of Plains, PA and his canine companions, Annie, Jack, and Percy.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday July 18, 2025, at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive Bath, PA 18014. Family and friends are invited to gather from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Church prior to services. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with his care and arrangements.
