William M. Kilpatrick, Jr.

William M. Kilpatrick, Jr., 83, of Moravian Hall Square Nazareth, Pennsylvania, died early Saturday morning, December 17, 2016, at VNA Hospice House St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township. He was the husband of Shirley M. (Anderson) Kilpatrick since April 25, 1959. Born in Bushkill Township, he was a son of the late William M., Sr. and Florence M. (Gorman) Kilpatrick.
William was employed as an electrical engineer for the former Western Electric Corporation, Allentown, for over 30 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth. A 1951 graduate of the Nazareth High School, he later graduated from Lafayette College, Easton, and served stateside in the Army, achieving rank of 1Lt. William was a private pilot, and had previously held a commercial rating. He was a member of the Electrical Engineers Association.
Survivors: Wife, Shirley. Sister, Evelyn M. Kilpatrick of Nazareth. Brother-in-law, Lester and wife Ruth Anderson of Nazareth. Godson, Donald Pharo of Northampton.
Services: Memorial Services, 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016, at St. John's UCC, Broad and Prospect Streets, Nazareth, PA 18064. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday in the church, prior to the memorial services. Interment will be private at Greenwood Cemetery, High Street, Nazareth, PA.
