William J. Kukitz, Jr.

William J. Kukitz, Jr. , 89 of Whitehall, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Whitehall Manor in Whitehall, PA. Born October 14, 1935, in Whitehall-Stiles, PA, he was the son of the late William J. Kukitz, Sr. and the late Rose (Weber) Kukitz. He was the husband of the late Mary E. (Wiesner) Kukitz, who passed away in December 2021.

William was last employed by US Airways as a Ticket Counter / Customer Service Representative at the Lehigh Valley International Airport, Allentown, PA. for 15 years before retiring in 1996. William was an avid bowler, bowling for years at the Jordan Lanes, Whitehall, PA, He enjoyed dancing with his wife Mary at the Fullerton Fire Co. in the earlier days. William made many of friends while exercising at the Northampton Recreation Center, but his best title is repair/fixit Pop helping his girls with many tasks throughout the weeks. William served his country as a SP4 in the US Army from 1960 until 1962.

William is survived by his daughter, Sheri E. Archbold of Catasauqua, PA; 2 granddaughters; Jennifer wife of Brandon Haines of Allentown, PA and Brittany Archbold of Catasauqua, PA. Sister, Rose wife of Charles Supp of Slatington, PA and Brother, James Kukitz of Allentown, PA. and a great-grandson Asher.

A Memorial Service with honors will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday January 23, 2025, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Pastor Eugene Kim officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM prior to the services. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
