William T. Leslie , 76, of E. Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton, East Penn Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully early Friday morning, April 30, 2021, in his home. He was the husband of Carole H. (Hascin) Leslie since June 18, 1974. Born in Palmerton he was a son of the late Ernest and Marion (Heydt) Leslie.
William was self-employed Notary Public in East Penn Township for many years, until his retirement. Previously, he worked in security for several years. A 1963 graduate of the Palmerton High School, he later served in the Navy, Vietnam Era and achieved the rank of SN. Following in his father's footsteps, he was a drummer from a young age, and played with many well known bands in the area. He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, and his best buddy, Coco.
Survivors: Wife. Daughter, Kelly wife of Edward Eidem of Lansford. 6 grandchildren, Sean, Eli, Nicklis, Arianne, Alton, and Edward. Sister, Lori wife of Ricky Frey of Lehighton. 2 nieces. 2 nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Heather in 1982, and a brother, James.
