William T. Mcginnis

William T. McGinnis, 54 of Whitehall, PA died on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at his residence. Born on May 5, 1962 in Hawley, PA, he was the son of the late Robert J. "Rupe" and Ellen "Jim" (Sartori) McGinnis. He was the husband of Maryann (Roberti) McGinnis for 30 years. He was a graduate of Bloomsburg University and was employed by Unisys Corporation for over 30 years as a Senior Systems Analyst. William coached Catasauqua Youth soccer, basketball, and baseball. He excelled in the sport of golf at Wallenpaupack High School, Bloomsburg University, and continued to love the game.

Surviving are his wife, sons, Ryan T. McGinnis and his wife Abigail of Altoona, PA and Eric W. McGinnis of Washington, DC, Loving companion, Teresa Scott Killian of Flemington, NJ, brothers, Bobby McGinnis and his wife Patti of Hawley, PA and Michael McGinnis and his wife Angie of Houston, TX, sisters, Peggy Evans and her husband Dennis of Newfoundland, PA and Marcy Webb and her husband Ian of Laurys Station, PA, many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 122 Union St., Catasauqua, PA 18032 with the Rev. John Krivak officiating. Interment will be held privately at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Schisler Funeral Home, Inc. , 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc. and/or the Wallenpaupack School District Golf Team c/o the funeral home.
