William M. Nicholas

William M. Nicholas, 77, formerly of Greenleaf Street, Allentown, and Palmerton, died suddenly Sunday afternoon, Mar 7, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus. Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late William and Mary J. (Krajcir) Nicholas.

William was employed as a substitute history teacher by both Allentown and Whitehall School Districts. He also worked for the Allentown Hospital, and the Hotel Bethlehem. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.

William graduated from the University of Scranton, Cum Laude in Political Science. An Air Force Veteran, Vietnam Era, he achieved rank of 1Lt.

Survivors: sisters, Rita S. wife of Mark Solomon, Carolyn E. Dreisbach, all of Allentown, Kathleen M. Limpar of Hellertown, Kathryn Jakabcin, and Mary Jane Lacquer. several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Mary M. Illigasch.

Services: Private Funeral Services. Interment, Sacred Heart Old Cemetery, 3rd Street, Palmerton. Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.
