William "Bill" P. Siegmund

William "Bill" P. Siegmund , 77 of Slatington, PA passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 Born November 30, 1946 in Palmerton, PA, he was the son of the late William Siegmund and the late Helen (Sulick) Siegmund. He was the husband of Betty (Buskirk) Siegmund with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.

After graduating from Slatington Highschool, Bill went on to serve in the Navy. He served for 4 years during the Cold War Era, earning the rank of ADR3. Once returning home, Bill started work at American Nickeloid as a metal plater for 10 years. He then made the transition to Sears working as a mechanic for 8 years, and lastly moving to Andretti Enterprise, where he installed and repaired car washes for 10 years before retiring in 1995. Bill volunteered for Walnutport and Slatington's' Station 24 & 29 assisting with Fire Police for many years. In his free time, he loved to spend time fishing at the lake.

Survivors: along with his wife, son, Jason F. Siegmund of Slatington, PA, stepson Todd Yurick of NC, brother, Rick Siegmund and wife Diana of Slatington, PA, 1 niece and 2 nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 AM up until the time of service.

Memorial Contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to the Lehigh Valley Humane Society, care of the funeral home.
