William E. Stone, 89 of Bethlehem, PA died Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Kirkland Village in Bethlehem, PA. Born
November 24, 1926 in Catasauqua, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel Stone and the late Pearl (Rabenold)
Stone. He was the husband of the late Gloria J. (McKittrick) Stone who passed away in May 1996.
A graduate of Northampton High School and Radio Electronic Institute of Philadelphia he went on to work for the
former Twin County Cable, Northampton for 45 years having performed various functions in 48 of our 50 states,
earning his way to Vice President and retiring in 1994. William was a member of the Presbyterian church of
Catasauqua, PA; He was a member of the American Legion Post #353 Northampton, PA; A member of the F & AM
Blue Lodge #637, Northampton; member of the Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown, a member of the Rajah
Temple Shriner, Reading, PA; and a member of the National Cable Television Pioneers and the local Cable Television
Assoc. Pioneers and Founders. He served his country as a Navy Veteran during WWII.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 613 2nd
Street Catasauqua, PA. 18032. There will be a calling hour with Masonic services, prior to the services in the church.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Whitehall, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave.
Northampton, PA. 18067, is in charge of arrangements.
