Winifred J. Rice

Winifred J. Rice, 94 of Lehigh Township, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's, Bethlehem.

Born Thursday, November 17, 1927 in Thetford, England,she was the daughter of the late Amos and Clara (Lot) Munford and wife of the late Jacob S. Rice.

She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Danielsville.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Jacob S. Frederick, Kenneth Frederick, Diane Tust, Roseanne Tust, William Tust, Rita MacHose, and several others out of the country, she was predeceased by nephew, Guy Rice.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 and from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service, all on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Salem United Methodist Church, 1067 Blue Mountain Drive, Danielsville. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Northampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church or the VNA Hospice of St. Luke's, both in care of the funeral home.
