Zana Kist

Zana Kist, 90, of Neffs, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at her home.

Born May 21, 1936 in Macon, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Helen (Sires) Wilson.

Zana worked as an account specialist for the Lehigh Valley Hospital for thirteen years before retiring and was a volunteer for the Lehigh Valley Hospice for many years. She also volunteered for the American Red Cross Blood Drive. She was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville, where she volunteered with the Senior Ministry.

Zana knitted over 5000 hats and donated them to World Vision where they were distributed to children all over the globe.

She is survived by her son, Carl and wife Melanie Kist of Laurys Station, daughters, Gale wife of Bob Wert of Virginia Beach, VA, Donna M. wife of Mark Boyer of Slatington, and Monicawife of David Kunz of Neffs, sister, Elizabeth wife of Zach Arnold of Lilburn GA, and seven grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brother, Carl Wilson, and sister, Rebekah Arnold.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM followed by a 1:00 PM funeral service, all on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park, Bethlehem.
