Todd R. Hartzell

Todd Robert Hartzell, 65, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018, due to natural causes. Born July 30, 1953 in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Robert and Gloria Hartzell.

Todd grew up in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania and attended nearby Boyertown High School.  He proudly attained Eagle Scout status after many years of participating in the Boy Scouts.  After spending two years studying electronics at a technical school, Todd worked for IBM for 30 years, retiring as a Senior Project Management Consultant.  Following his retirement, he was an entrepreneur and started multiple successful ventures, and satisfied his love for working with wood by becoming a professional wood turner.

Todd is survived by his brother Scott (Carol) Hartzell of Hamburg, PA; sister Pam Hartzell of Oxford, PA;  brother Kip (Jessica) Hartzell of Raleigh, NC.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 12 p.m. for family and friends.
